Music Performance
One thing from college that made a difference
I will always remember the feeling that anything was possible after achieving my final grades and after performing in my final assessed performance.
Phoebe, who works as a Mezzo Soprano/Vocal Tutor for The Royal Academy of Music, did her BTEC National Diploma in Music Performance while at Derby College.
"College for me is the place that allowed me to get to the next step in my career" Phoebe said "without Derby College I would not be able to attend The Royal Academy of Music in London and begin my Masters program this September."
"During my time at Derby College, I particularly loved the focussed commitment of the tutors and the strong sense of teamwork instilled. It helped me to gain confidence and experience in the industry and it also taught me a strong sense of resilience."
