One thing from college that made a difference
The College kept me on track and was very open to helping me respond to any challenges.
Liam completed his course in 2016 and, after further study with The University of Southampton, he currently works for Teach Now.
He told us "Derby College offered me lots of support throughout my course... However, the College kept me on track and was very open to helping me respond to any challenges. Counseling Services helped me figure out how to best manage my time so that I would feel more comfortable with my responsibilities as a student."
Liam explained that he "loved the general overall feeling of being in college, at an age where there just seems like there are a million possibilities and things to do with your life. I particularly enjoyed the web-labs because they were a lot of fun and easy to understand. ... I've taken online courses where assignments would be confusing."
