One thing from college that made a difference
Derby College was instrumental in my ability to gain a university place.
Helen studied GCSE Maths and English at the College in 2015 and is, at the time of writing, a Trainee Business Teacher at Queen Elizabeth Grammar School Ashbourne.
She told us "Derby was instrumental in my ability to gain a university place, and the college experience gave me the confidence to continue on with further education. My favourite aspect of the College was the friendly manner of the teaching staff and students alike."
Helen explained that she loved her courses because they were "full of different age ranges and this gave a friendly mix of personalities. We all helped and supported each other and this created a great atmosphere."
